teaching profession, Rio Salado
offers courses within this
program every two weeks, and
students can complete courses at
their own pace within a 14-week
time frame. The lack of typical
semesters or quarters allows
students to stagger their
coursework and take one or more
classes pretty much whenever
they want to.

ONLINE
A new online Master Teaching and
Leadership concentration offered
by the University of Illinois at
Springfield is geared for K-12
teachers who want to take on
leadership roles but who are not
interested in obtaining an
administrative certificate. MORE
UMASS LOWELL ONLINE GRAD PROGRAM
IN ED ADMIN MAKING STRIDES
Designed around the frameworks
required for earning
Massachusetts state
certification for principals,
assistant principals,
supervisors, and/or directors,
this program has attracted a
good number of enrollments over
a very short period of time,
despite having tuition prices
that are higher than a matching
on-campus program.
