About/Services

George Lorenzo has been writing about higher education since the early 1980s as a student journalist and editor-in-chief at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a native of Buffalo, New York and currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His focus on online higher education began when he launched Educational Pathways (EdPath) in 2000. EdPath was a successful 8- to 12-page monthly, in-print, paid-subscription newsletter with articles strictly about online higher education, written, designed, and published entirely by George under his then newly formed company, Lorenzo Associates, Inc. The newsletter lasted until 2008, and was revived as a curated bi-weekly electronic newsletter. In addition to EdPath, George’s independent research, writing, editing, and publishing services have been provided to institutions, publishers, and organizations, including the Rochester Institute of Technology, Michigan State University, the University of California, Fort Hayes State University, Northern American University, Ferris State University, Rio Salado College, the Sloan Consortium, WCET, EDUCAUSE, Blackboard, Prometheus, eCollege, University Business, EdSurge, Fast Company, PBS, and most recently the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities. He has written two related books: “Sam’s Teach Yourself Today eCollege: Applying for college, taking classes, and financing your education online” and “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Getting Your MBA Online.” Services Of all the services provided by George, his ability to produce in-depth special reports and newsletters can save clients time and money. He has exceptional interviewing skills and a reputation for efficiently and creatively getting projects completed under very tight deadlines. In short, you can depend on George to get things done when you need it most. See his portfolio for some samples (there are many more not published here) and contact him for a free consultation.
